Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech revealed the name of their baby boy on Father’s Day on Saturday. Yuvraj shared pictures with his son on social media and wrote an emotional message. Yuvraj wrote in the caption with a heart emoji, “Welcome to the world Orion Keech Singh.”
Yuvraj wrote with the hashtag #HappyFathersDay, “Mummy and daddy love their little son. Your eyes twinkle with every smile, as if your name is written among the stars. The couple had announced the birth of their child on January 25. Hazel also shared the pictures on her Instagram account and she also shared another post.
Yuvraj in an interview with Hindustan Times, “The former India batsman revealed that he has named his son after the constellation Orion and it was his decision to include his wife’s last name in his son’s name. Orion is a constellation and to parents, your child is your star. When Hazel was pregnant and sleeping in the hospital, I was watching some episodes from where I got this name and Hazel also liked it immediately.”
Let us tell you that Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech got married in 2016. They celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in November 2021. Yuvraj announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on June 10, 2019, after serving Indian cricket for 19 years. Yuvraj is regarded as one of the best limited overs cricketers India has ever produced. He played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is for India from 2000 to 2017 and was part of India’s team that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup.
