The heart has to work harder to keep the body and blood warm. In winter, blood flow slows down due to narrowing of the arteries. In such a situation, the heart muscles do not get proper oxygen, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke.

The temperature starts decreasing in winter. Due to which there is a risk of increasing blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Both these things increase the risk of heart attack manifold.
