Thane, 24 May (IANS). Cases of Corona are once again increasing across the country. Meanwhile, a corona infected youth died in Thane, Maharashtra on Saturday.
The young man was admitted to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa for treatment in critical condition on 22 May last. After a preliminary investigation, his Kovid-19 report was found positive and he was undergoing treatment since then. However, despite all efforts, the young man died today during treatment.
After the death of the young man, there has been a stir in the health department and the district administration. The administration has immediately started the process of identifying the people who came in contact with the young man coming into action. Since this incident, the local administration has increased vigilance and appealed to the citizens to strictly follow all the guidelines related to Kovid. Precautions such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance and not gathering crowds in public places have been applied by the administration.
Along with this, the Health Department has also requested that if someone feels fever, cough, shortness of breathing or other Kovid-19, then they should immediately go to the nearest health center and get it checked.
It is noteworthy that there was a decrease in recent months in the cases of Korona, but these new cases have again alerted the Health Department. Experts say that there is a possibility of surge in cases due to changing weather and increase in travel. Meanwhile, many states are on alert in view of the situation. While issuing advisory in this regard, it has also been said to take precautionary measures by the Ministry of Health of many states.
