The results of two phase I insulin trials were presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes meeting in Madrid.
It was found to be safe for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients.
In the clinical trial, 928 patients of type 2 diabetes and 623 patients of type 1 diabetes were included. The clinical trial continued for 52 consecutive weeks.
It has been found to be safe for type one and type two diabetes patients. Now there will be no need to take insulin injections daily. One injection will be enough for a week. Diabetes patients will get a lot of relief from this.
