Neck, jaw and shoulder pain: Heart attack pain can radiate from the chest to the neck, jaw and shoulders. This is common in women and can often be misinterpreted as a dental or muscle problem.
Arm pain: If you have persistent pain in your left arm, this is also one of the symptoms of a heart attack. Heart attack pain can spread to the left arm. In some cases, the pain can spread to both arms, causing a feeling of heaviness or pain.
Back pain: Some heart attack patients complain of pain in the upper back, often between the shoulder blades. This symptom is more commonly experienced by women. But most people mistake it for a muscle strain or fatigue.
Abdominal pain: Pain in the upper abdomen, which is often mistaken for indigestion or dyspepsia, can also be a sign of a heart attack. Especially if there is shortness of breath and fatigue along with nausea or vomiting, one should immediately consult a doctor.
