Ghaziabad, 11 April (IANS). TB is such a disease, if the patient does not get treatment at the right time, then it can prove fatal for the patient. In many cases, patients also die due to lack of treatment of TB. However, the Modi government at the Center is constantly trying to get a diagnosis of fatal diseases like TB. The central government is also making people aware to abolish TB. PM Modi has targeted to make India TB free by 2025.
In this episode, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will now be used to find TB patients in Ghaziabad, UP. The first district of the state will become Ghaziabad, where this technique will be used to find TB. AI software will be installed in a digital X-ray machine, so that the machine itself can mark it as soon as the symptoms of TB are found in the patient. Ghaziabad District TB Officer Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav informed that AI technology will be used in two centers. It has been allowed.
He said that this technique will benefit not only doctors, but also patients. Doctors will get real time reporting of patients. He told that last year 21 thousand TB patients came out. Whose treatment was started. We have run a campaign from 31 December 2024 to 31 March 2025. Under this campaign, 6500 patients came out of TB. After this, his treatment was started.
He told that during this time, the biggest problem in front of us was waiting for the Xare Riport of the patients. This used to take time to start the medicine. However, AI technology will update the patient’s real time X -ray results. This will provide timely medicine to patients.
