Jammu and Kashmir, 13 March (IANS). An awareness camp was organized on World Kidney Day at Government Medical College, Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, in which MBBS students were informed about the importance of kidney health.
The purpose of this program was to explain the problems related to the kidney of the students and the latest medical measures related to nephrology.
Awareness camp was an important part of this program. The prevalence of kidney diseases, their causes and prevention measures were discussed in the camp. Along with this, the early identity of kidney problems and importance of treatment was also emphasized, so that the risk of chronic kidney disease could be reduced.
During the program, well-known nephrologist Dr. Vinod interacted with IANS and shared important information on measures to protect and save the kidney. He described the kidney as an important part of the human body and said that lifestyle changes and precautions are necessary to keep the kidney healthy. He said that avoiding excessive use of balanced diet, adequate refreshments and over-the-counter painkiller can help keep the kidneys healthy.
In addition, Dr. Vinod also discussed the latest medical techniques and innovations in the treatment of kidney diseases, including dialysis treatment and improvement in kidney transplant processes. He also stated that people suffering from high -risk individuals, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, should get kidney checks regularly so that any problem can be resolved in time.
With the information given by Dr. Vinod, the students involved in the camp got necessary information to make positive contribution in the field of nephrology.
