Be Careful if You Drink Coffee: The latest study on coffee claims that if you drink coffee five days a week, it will spoil your cardiovascular health. Due to this, the risk of heart attack will increase.

The research paper says that no matter how healthy a person is, if he drinks too much coffee for five days a week, he is at risk of getting heart disease. According to the information, 92 healthy people were included in this study whose age was between 18 to 45 years.

Before the study, the blood pressure and pulse rate of all these people were measured. After this, the amount of caffeine present in whose blood was also measured.

After this, blood pressure and pulse rate were checked again. Along with this, the researchers found out how many times these people drink coffee in a day and how many days in a week they drink coffee.

at Zydus Medical College, Dahod Department of Internal Medicine Researcher Nancy Kagathara said that the parasympathetic system deteriorates in people who consume caffeine regularly. This increases blood pressure and heart rate. Researchers said that this happens in people with chronic caffeine habit.

Caffeine does not only mean coffee

Caffeine does not only mean coffee, but tea, soda and energy drinks also contain caffeine. Tea also contains caffeine but in less quantity. But if you consume too much tea then the amount of caffeine in the blood will increase.

This is called chronic caffeine habit. In such a situation, if you consume coffee for 5 days or consume too much tea for 5 days, then it will have a bad effect on the health of the heart. The study found that 19 percent of the people were victims of chronic caffeine. These people used to take 400 mg of caffeine in a day. 400 mg of caffeine means that these people used to drink 4 cups of coffee or two energy drinks or 10 cans of soda daily.

Although 400 milligrams of caffeine does not have a very bad effect, but if it is more than this, then the heart rate and blood pressure starts increasing. And if this habit continues for a long time, then it also increases the risk of heart attack.

Let us tell you that there are frequent studies on coffee. In these, both its positive and negative effects are mentioned. Actually, coffee contains caffeine compound which increases alertness. That is why when you drink coffee, you feel refreshed. But there was no specific research on what its quantity should be.
