Bhagalpur, 8 May (IANS). The Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra has emerged as a boon for flood -affected areas like Naugachia of Bhagalpur. People say that good medicine and cheap medicine are available here. The beneficiaries informed that the poor are getting a lot of help from the Jan Aushadhi Kendra.

Naugachia’s center director Amit Kumar said that Jan Aushadhi Kendra is a visionary step of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In rural areas, poor people were sold at home during treatment. He said that he first had an economic problem in getting treatment. This is a visionary program to overcome this problem. Due to the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, poor families are saving money by saving up to 90 percent of the money to save the money spent in medicine. The center is getting a discount of 50 percent to 90 percent. He told that the stomach pain medicine is available in the market for 5 rupees, it is being given 10 tablets here for 90 paise.

Subodh Gupta, who came to take the medicine, said that the medicines available at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra are getting cheap up to 75 percent. I get a medicine of 600 rupees at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra only for 150 rupees. After getting the benefit here, all the people of their ward have been asked to take medicine from here, so that everyone can get the benefit of it. He said that now we take less medicines from the market. For this, we thank Prime Minister Modi a lot. We used to spend a lot of money in treatment.

Nisha Kumari, who came to take the medicine, told that outside we used to take medicine in two thousand, she is getting three times less at Jan Aushadhi Kendra. The Prime Minister is requested that some medicines are not found here, they should also be made available.

It is worth noting that ‘Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Project (PMBJP)’ is a campaign which has been started by the Pharmaceuticals Department in collaboration with the Central Pharma Public Sector Undertakings. Its objective is to provide quality medicines to the general public at cheap prices through ‘Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra’ dedicated shops.
