London, Sep 10 (IANS) Britain’s Princess Kate has given an update on her ongoing cancer treatment. Kate says she has completed chemotherapy.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have finally finished my chemotherapy treatment,” Princess Kate, 42, said in a video as she spent time with her family in Norfolk, eastern England.
He said, “The last nine months have been very difficult for our family. As you know, life can change in a moment. Life has its ups and downs. We must have the ability to face the challenges that come our way and find new paths.”
“My goal now is to do everything I can to remain cancer-free. I have completed chemotherapy, but my road to healing and full recovery is long. I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she added.
The princess says she is looking forward to getting back to work and making some more public appearances in the coming months.
Prince William’s wife Kate revealed that she had cancer in March. But she began chemotherapy at the end of February.
