Take these precautions after TB treatment:
Keep checking TB: Even after the treatment of TB is over, make sure that you have taken a complete drug course directed by the doctor. Incomplete treatment or leaving medicine may increase the risk of TB again. Keep checking your TB every three months even after treatment. This does not make infection with TB. This is necessary for every patient.
Diet better: Include green vegetables, fruits, protein -rich foods in your diet so that the immune system remains strong. Regular exercise or yoga increases the body’s immune system, which is helpful in preventing infection. Avoid excessive fatigue. Proper sleep and rest are very important in the body’s energy.
Use masks: Maintain cleanliness around you. Avoid moving to crowded or contaminated winds. Use masks, especially if you are in an environment where the risk of infection is high.
Avoid alcohol and smoking: Alcohol consumption and smoking should be avoided during and after treatment, as these habits can damage the liver and lungs, increasing the risk of TB being re -activated.
Maintain positive thinking: Treatment of TB can be mentally challenging. Maintain positive thinking, communicate with family and friends and seek professional help if necessary. Keep in contact with the doctor regularly during treatment and also follow their advice.
