Kurukshetra, 8 June (IANS). Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini reached Kurukshetra on Sunday. During this, he reviewed the preparations for the 11th International Yoga Day. This review meeting was held at Kala Kriti Bhavan in Kurukshetra. It discussed in detail to make the Yoga Day grand and successful.
About one lakh people will do yoga together in this ceremony to be held on the holy Brahma Sarovar coast of Kurukshetra on 21 June. This year’s theme ‘Haryana, drug -free Haryana with yoga has been kept, which focuses on promoting healthy life and de -addiction through yoga.
Chief Minister Naib Saini said that yoga will be celebrated as a festival on this day and millions of people in Kurukshetra will do yoga together. Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev will participate in this event. The result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts is that today yoga has become a part of every person’s life in the whole world. He said that the yoga campaign has started from May 27, in which the cleanliness campaign has also been added. All the departments and institutions of the district are participating in it.
He appealed to the people, “Be sure to attend the yoga program on 21 June. This time the spirit is ‘first yoga, then refreshments’.” CM said that Kurukshetra is going to witness the historic event of the 11th International Yoga Day.
