Colorectal cancer occurs in the colon i.e. large intestine or rectal cancer. It is one of the most common cancer in cancer occurring worldwide. The risk of colorectal cancer increases with age. Most of the cases are reported in people above 50 years of age. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), colon cancer is the second major cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Change in bowel movements- Changes in bowel movement can be a symptom of colorectal cancer. In which diarrhea or constipation or any kind of change in stool that you have been feeling for some time can be dangerous. Bleeding in stool- Bleeding in stool can be a symptom of colorectal cancer. In this, bleeding or clot starts coming out during the stool. Sometimes the color of the potty starts to look dark or light black. If any such symptom is seen, then the doctor should be seen.
