Some people have strong bad breath. Forget talking to these people, it becomes difficult to even stand in front of them. It is even more difficult to tell that your mouth smells bad. Many times the smell persists even after brushing twice a day. In such a situation, people have to feel a lot of embarrassment. Actually, there can be many reasons for bad breath. These include lack of proper cleaning of mouth and teeth, cavity in teeth, stomach not being clean, infection in gums and many times bad smell keeps coming from the mouth even after eating food with pungent smell. Apart from this, deficiency of some vitamins and essential nutrients also causes bad breath. Deficiency of these 3 vitamins in the body can also increase the problem of bad breath.

Deficiency of these vitamins causes bad breath


Vitamin C- Deficiency of Vitamin C causes bad breath. Due to deficiency of Vitamin C, the risk of swelling in the gums, bleeding in the gums and infection increases. This can cause decay in the mouth and cause bad breath. Vitamin C is effective in strengthening immunity. Vitamin C deficiency can be compensated by eating lemon, orange, guava, papaya and strawberry.



Vitamin D- Calcium and Vitamin D are needed to strengthen teeth. Vitamin D helps in strengthening bones. This also strengthens the gripping of the teeth in the jaw. If teeth break or become loose, it causes bad breath. Deficiency of Vitamin D increases the risk of diseases related to gums and teeth. To overcome the deficiency of Vitamin D, eat egg yolk, dairy products and fortified cereals and sit in the sun.



Vitamin B12- Due to deficiency of Vitamin B12 in the body, problems like bad breath, mouth ulcers, swelling of gums and connective tissue supporting teeth can arise. Bad smell from the mouth can also cause deficiency of Vitamin B12 in the body. To overcome the deficiency of Vitamin B12, eat almond milk, curd, salmon fish, red meat and eggs.


Home remedies to remove bad breath


If you have bad breath, put 1-2 cardamoms in your mouth after eating.



Chewing fennel seeds after meals also removes bad breath.



Smell can also be reduced by chewing basil leaves on an empty stomach.



Make a habit of brushing twice a day, morning and evening, this will remove the smell.



Drink plenty of water throughout the day and chewing mint leaves will also remove bad breath.
