New Delhi, 6 March (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday inspected the Government Girls Senior Secondary School located in ward number 55 of Shalimar village. He inspected the school from the facility of drinking water in the school to the classroom. Many flaws were seen. On this, he immediately told the principal of the school present on the spot, “There was no hope. You assume that it is going wrong here.”
The Chief Minister told the principal that drinking water is not coming here. What to do? Tell me, remove it.
After this the principal said, “Mam, will be fine today.”
On this, the Chief Minister told the principal that I did not expect this answer from you. You assume that it is going wrong here. Drinking water is not coming here for children. There is no water coming in the toilet. This is not right. You obey this thing.
On this, the principal told the Chief Minister that “Sorry Maam, will be cured today.”
The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of misfortune that no proper arrangement of drinking water has been made for the children in the school nor there is a water system for them in the toilet. How many problems the children will be facing due to such mismanagement in the school.
The Chief Minister asked the principal to repair all these flaws immediately. He said that you have to ensure that no student studying in the school has any problem. This is your responsibility. You cannot run away from your responsibilities.
On this, the principal assured the Chief Minister that all these problems would be overcome.
After this, the Chief Minister also inspected the classroom. He looked at each thing very carefully. He inspected from bench to blackboard.
After making a full visit to the school, the Chief Minister said that we all have to together ensure that the children studying here do not have any kind of problem.
