New Delhi, 4 July (IANS). Dr. Kashinath Samagandi, Director, Morarji Desai National Institute of AYUSH, said that global goals like Universal Health Coverage (UHC) can be met only when traditional medical practices are also included in health policy and healthcare distribution.
At the beauty, health and traditional medicine conference of Assocham (Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India), Dr. Samagandi said that India’s health future will be better only when we will associate traditional treatment methods with modern medical policy and methods of treatment.
He said, “complete health is the basic right of every human being, and if India has to achieve it completely, then we have to include traditional medical practices in the country’s main health system.”
People associated with treatment, health and policy were present in this conference. Everyone interacted on the subject about how to carry forward traditional medicine, beauty and health.
Dr. Blossom Kochhar said, “Beauty and health are not just a matter of looking good, it is a sign of our inner balance, peace and strong health. If we move forward by mixing nature, science and our care, we will not only look good, but will also feel energetic from inside.
