United Nations, 27 June (IANS). Humanitarian activists of the United Nations said that his colleagues providing health aid in Gaza have reported an increase in prevention of prevention related diseases related to clean water, hygiene and fuel deficiency.
According to the news agency Xinhua, the United Nations Human Affairs Coordination Office (OCHA) said that more than 19,000 loose motion (acute gourd diarrhea) cases were registered in the last two weeks. Also, more than 200 cases of jaundice syndrome and bloody diarrhea have been reported.
Human activists said, “These outbreaks are directly associated with clean water and lack of hygiene in Gaza, which outlines fuel, medical supply and immediate requirement of water, hygiene and hygiene materials to prevent further deteriorating public health system.”
The colleagues reported another collective attack at Al Aksa Hospital after an airstrike in Der al-Balah.
He said that more than 20 people died in the hospital and 70 others were injured. Additional injured patients had to transfer to Naser Medical Complex and two other health facilities.
The OCHA said, “Citizens in Gaza are being killed or injured while finding food for Israeli air strikes, shelling, or their families daily. These tragic events should not be considered normal and will have to be closed immediately.”
Another positive thing is that the World Health Organization (WHO) said that after March 2, when Israel implemented a complete blockade on Gaza, the medical supply was first delivered to Gaza. Karem Shalom/Karam Abu Salem Border Crossing has been taken to nine trucks, 2,000 units of blood and 1,500 units of plasma have been moved.
The WHO said that supply is being distributed in priority hospitals. Blood and plasma were transported to cold storage facility of Naser Medical Complex at Khan Yunis in Southern Gaza to be distributed to hospitals where there is a severe decrease among the increasing number of injuries, many of which are associated with incidents at the non-colored nations, US-operated militaryized food distribution sites.
The WHO said that this consignment of extremely necessary medical supply is much less than the need.
The OCHA stated that it is necessary to increase the flow of human and essential commercial goods through several crossings and routes in Gaza to meet human needs and reduce looting and facilitate their safe distribution throughout the region.
The office said that six of the 17 attempts to coordinate human activities inside Gaza on Wednesday were completely rejected by Israeli officials. These included the planned United Nations Missions such as water trucking and repairing roads. Nine other coordination efforts, including removing solid waste and collecting goods from the crossing, were made smooth by Israeli officials. Also two extra efforts were not made.
“Continuous restrictions on human access are severely weakening life -saving tasks,” the office said.
The OCHA is seriously concerned about increasing violence and Israeli attacks against Palestinians at West Bank.
