In such a situation, it is very important for your diet to be correct. Because if you accidentally consume purine rich foods in this season, then the problem may increase further for you. So let us know what things you should avoid consuming in this season?

Which foods should be avoided to reduce uric acid?
Avoid consumption of these vegetables: Uric acid patients should not eat cauliflower, cabbage and mushroom vegetables. Excessive amount of purine in it can increase the problem. Green peas contain abundant amounts of purine, which can be quite harmful for uric acid patients. Due to this, the problem of pain and swelling may increase. Therefore, uric acid patients should avoid eating it. Spinach, rich in iron, is considered very beneficial for health. But uric acid patients should not consume it.

Sweetened beverages: Excessive intake of fructose through sweetened beverages, especially those with high fructose corn syrup, is considered a risk factor for gout. Therefore, stay away from all sugary beverages. Most fruits also contain substantial amounts of fructose, although you can consume them in moderation.

Alcohol: Alcohol is a classic source of purines and if you consume too much alcohol, uric acid is sure to increase as well as increase its symptoms. Therefore, try to limit alcohol as much as possible.

Meat and Seafood: Most red meat, seafood like sardines, anchovies, mackerel are high in purines, so it is best to limit them to once a week.
