New Delhi, 23 May (IANS). Water is like nectar for our body. It gives us energy, keeps the body healthy and protects us from diseases. It is necessary to drink pure water in the right pot, as it is the basis of our health and life. According to Ayurveda and religious texts, drinking water kept in metals like silver, copper, bronze and brass is beneficial for health. While drinking water in plastic, steel or iron utensils should be avoided as they can affect the body. With this, it is said that water should be drunk in lotus instead of glass. In the old times, people used to drink water from lotus, because they considered it more beneficial to drink water from it.
It is said that the glass was prevalent with Portugal. Due to the Portuguese, it came into vogue in India. Drinking water from lotus is considered better because its size is not straight and the same, but is round, which is more beneficial according to Ayurveda. In comparison, the glass is straight and in a line, which is not considered good for drinking water. Therefore, it is advisable to give up the habit of drinking water from the glass.
Water has no quality of its own. The vessel in which he is kept adopts the qualities of the same. For example, if water is mixed in milk, it becomes like milk, and if you meet in curd, then like curd. Therefore, in which vessel the water is kept, it matters a lot. The vessel in which water is kept, its size also affects the water. As the lota is round, the water kept in it also adopts the effect of round shape. It receives balanced energy. At the same time, the glass size is straight and like a cylinder, which is not considered as favorable as a lotus naturally.
There were wells from the old times, which were made in round shape. Just like a lota is. This was done because round shape has a good effect on water. The outer part of round things is low, and when the surface is low, the stress on it, which is called surface tension in the scientific language, is also less. When the surface tension of water is low, it becomes even more beneficial for the body.
It is believed that if you drink more surface tension, then it can be harmful to the body, because it has a kind of additional pressure.
You must have seen that sage saints have kamandal, which are like a lotus size i.e. a well size. It is considered more comfortable and beneficial for the body.
When the surface tension of water is low, its effect remains on our body for a long time. One special advantage of such water is that it helps in cleaning our intestines. There is a membrane inside our large and small intestine, on which dirt accumulates over time. It is very important to clean that dirt so that the stomach works properly. If we drink low surface tension water, it helps in cleaning the intestines and keeps the stomach healthy.
Let’s try to understand this in another way. If you apply some milk on your face and wipe it with cotton after 5 minutes, the cotton turns black. This means that milk drove out the dirt hidden in the depth of the skin. This is because milk surface tension is low. This opens the skin slightly and the inner dirt comes out. Similarly, when you drink water kept in a round vessel like lotte, it is also a low surface tension. Such water goes into the stomach and cleanses the intestines, as milk cleaned the face. This improves the digestive system and keeps the body healthy.
This habit brings strength to the body and you can avoid many diseases for a long time. Especially the chances of having troubles like Bhagandar, Piles and intestinal swelling are greatly reduced. For this reason, it is said in Ayurveda that water should be drunk and the use of glass should be stopped. The water in the lotus remains in round shape, just as the rain drops are round. Round -shaped water is close to nature and is considered more beneficial for health. Therefore, drinking lotus water is a good habit, which keeps the body balanced and healthy.
