New Delhi, 24 June (IANS). If you want to bring your mind and body into a balance, then Pranayama is considered the most effective way. Especially Bhramari Pranayama is very beneficial. The name of Bhramari Pranayama comes from the word Bhramar, which means Bhramar i.e. Bhavanra. When we exhale, the sound that comes out looks like the blessings of the bhanvare, so this pranayama can also be called ‘bee breath’. During this time, you feel a light vibration in your throat, face and jaws, which is quite relaxing. Practicing it daily keeps the mind calm and mental balance is better.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Bhramari Pranayama helps to calm the mind. Stress is reduced, anger remains under control, and the restlessness of the mind also gradually starts to get away. Its regular practice provides relief to the brain and nerves, which also increases the strength to think and understand.

For those who are struggling with the problem of high blood pressure, Bhramari Pranayama can prove to be very beneficial. This practice cools the brain and reduces the stress of the nerves, causing blood pressure to gradually balance. When the mind is calm, the body starts working better.

If you complain of migraine, then Bhramari Pranayama can give a lot of relief in it. This practice calms the veins of the brain and helps reduce the severe pain in the head. When you exhale with a bee-like voice, it affects the brain directly and migraine pain gradually starts decreasing. A few minutes of practice daily can bring your headache problem under control to a great extent.

If your mind wanders quickly in studies or some work, then the practice of pranayama can be very useful for you. Doing this increases the strength to focus. This is very beneficial for children and students, especially. This also improves the power to remember.

To perform Bhramari Pranayama, first of all sit comfortably at a peaceful place. Then close the eyes and cover the ears and eyes lightly with the fingers of both hands. Now keep the mouth shut and breathe slowly from the nose and leave. When you exhale, make a sound of a bhnen like a light bee. By doing this, a slight vibration is felt in the brain, which helps in increasing mental peace and attention.
