21 मंगोलियाई प्रांतों में से ग्यारह पर मंडरा रहा है

Ulaanbaatar, November 13 (IANS). Citing the country’s National Center for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD), local media reported that two cases of anthrax have been reported in the western Mongolian province of Uvs.

According to the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD), a 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman are suffering from the virus in Zungovy Soum, an administrative subdivision of the province.

The man contracted the disease after killing a cow infected with the disease, while the woman became infected after eating meat from the same animal.

The infected people have been admitted to the local hospital in critical condition. Nine other people living close to the sick animal have been kept isolated in the hospital under the supervision of doctors.

The center said Soum province is being monitored due to the outbreak.

According to the National Center for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD), all eleven of 21 Mongolian provinces are now at risk from anthrax.

Let us tell you that anthrax is a rare type of infectious disease. It is spread by a bacterium called Bacillus anthracis. Anthrax is found naturally in wild and domestic hoofed animals throughout the world, especially cattle, sheep, goats, camels, and antelope.

Humans contract this virus when they come in contact with bacteria that is spread by touching animals or animal skin.

There is a danger of anthrax virus spreading through air also.
