New Delhi, 21 April (IANS). It is very common to find garlic in every house in India. It is used in many dishes. Regular use of garlic proves beneficial for the body in many cases. Research claims that along with reducing cholesterol levels, cancer-fighting medical properties are found.
According to the report published in the social networking site Research Gate of scientists and researchers, garlic contains compounds containing several bioactive orgenosulfur, including alicin. Alicin has anti -cancer therapeutic capacity.
Ellicin found in garlic is a compound that boosts immunity. Also, it also proves to be helpful in fighting flu and respiratory problems. Not only this, it increases blood circulation. Along with supporting heart health, reduces cholesterol levels.
Garlic is also considered better in digestive improvement. It detoxifies the body by taking out the toxins. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties help reduce pimples, acne and other skin problems. The garlic identified for antibiotic properties prevents bacterial and viral infections.
According to Ayurveda, consumption of garlic on an empty stomach in the morning is considered very beneficial for the body. Consuming garlic daily in the morning stops bacteria, viruses and fungus by boosting the body’s immune function. Garlic removes nose dirt and helps in reducing respiratory infections.
In Ayurveda, garlic is known as ‘anti -power cancer’. By the way, it is also not right to consume too much garlic in summer. This can affect the liver. Since raw garlic is more antioxidant, more intake can cause toxicity in the liver.
