Enthusiasm for yoga in Bihar, from common people to ministers also did yoga

Patna, 21 June (IANS). Today, the 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm across the country. On this occasion, people gave the message of ‘Karo Yoga, Raho Nirog’ through yoga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the message of healthy life by doing yoga in Visakhapatnam. At the same time, a state level program was organized at Pataliputra Sports Complex in Bihar. Many ministers, leaders and common people of Bihar government attended this program. Everyone appealed to make yoga an integral part of life and contribute to the creation of a healthy India.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, Minister Nitin Naveen and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary attended the event organized at Patna’s Pataliputra Sports Complex. Everyone emphasized the importance of yoga and advised it to adopt it in daily life. In this program organized under this year’s theme ‘Ek Prithvi, Ek Health’, people pledged to improve physical and mental health through yoga.

Health Minister Mangal Pandey said in a conversation with reporters, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi got Yoga recognized on the global stage. The world has accepted on 21 June as International Yoga Day under his leadership. Yoga not only improves physical health, but also teaches mental peace and self-control.” He described this year’s theme ‘Ek Earth, One Health’ as ​​important for environment and human health.

Bihar government minister Nitin Naveen told news agency IANS, “Yoga has become the pride of Indian culture today by Prime Minister Modi’s efforts. I appeal to all the countrymen to adopt yoga and live a healthy life. Yoga has inspired not only India, but the whole world towards healthy and positive lifestyle.”

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “Prime Minister Modi had appealed to celebrate June 21 as International Yoga Day, which the whole world has adopted today. Yoga provides not only physical, but also mental and spiritual benefits.” He urged people to include yoga in daily life and stay healthy with positive energy.

Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said, “On the call of Prime Minister Modi, yoga is being celebrated all over the world today. Yoga is the basic need of our life. It keeps us physically and mentally healthy. People’s awareness towards yoga has increased considerably in the last 11 years.”

BJP National Minister Rituraj Sinha said, “Yoga has brought Indian culture to every corner of the world. It is a matter of pride for us. By making yoga a part of life, we can bring positive changes in our life.”

He appreciated the efforts of the government and said that in the last 11 years people understood and adopted the importance of yoga.

Bihar government minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said, “Yoga is a precious part of Indian culture and tradition. This is the easiest and effective way to keep us healthy.” He thanked Prime Minister Modi and said that yoga has become a recognition globally today with his efforts. He appealed to Bihar and countrymen to contribute to the creation of ‘Healthy Bihar, Healthy India’ by adopting yoga.
