Eyes interact the risk of dementia, alert is required for these reasons

आंखें डिमेंशिया का खतरा भांप करती हैं अलर्ट, इन कारणों से नेत्र विशेषज्ञ का जरूरी होता है परामर्श

New Delhi, 28 February (IANS). Sometimes we may not even think that if there was no eyes, what would have happened! We would be denied by seeing the beautiful world, we would miss out on expressing our feelings. But if the eyes are able to express our pain, then the answer is not, because the eyes tell more.

Those of us who are right are careful. Thinking that there was no glasses, if there was no contact lens, then how is worry? But a research suggests that regular checkup is necessary. If you do not wear glasses, you still need to go to the optometrist for examination. This is what a research tells.

A research was published in the British Journal of Optomology, which belonged to dementia and eyes. It was based on years of research.

Research showed that our eyes give a lot of information to our brain about the things around us. This proved that the relationship between our eyes and brain is very strong. Research found that eye health may also be an early indicator of dementia and cognitive decline.

The study was tested in the study between 2006 and 2010, and then in 2021, these people were tested, then the result came to light. This research study by UK Biobank included 12,364 adults aged 55–73. The participants were evaluated on baseline between 2006 and 2010 and they were monitored until the beginning of 2021. To see whether systematic disease (systemic diseases) increases the risk of dementia? Here systematic disease means diabetes, heart disease and depression. It was found that people who were suffering from these problems or age -related AMD (McCular Demonation, which starts to look blurred), had the highest risk of dementia.

Compared to those who had no eye disease, people who had an age-related macular degeneration had increased 26% risk, 11% risk in cataract people and 61% risk in people with diabetes related eye diseases.

It is clear from this that if someone is suffering from diabetes, someone has heart related problems or is a victim of depression, then he should regularly examine the eyes.

Along with this, doctors also advise the pregnant. During this time there are hormonal changes. Many complain of blurring, some are struggling with dry eyes. In such a situation, the advice of a doctor is also necessary.

Another thing that has joined today’s lifestyle is screen time. So whichever time passes on mobile or computer screen, they should get regular checkups. Recently, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak said on a study basis that on average, people in India spend three and a half hours of screen. The average screen time of men is 6hr 45min, while the average screen time of women is 7hr 5min. This is also the cause of danger. If this is the case, it becomes necessary to take an appointment from the optometrist as soon as possible.

Now it comes to how we can take care of the eyes. Funda is the same, eat good and nutritious. Increase intake of vitamin A. Include nutrients rich in plants, fruits, vegetables, fruits, seeds, whole grains and beans in your diet. Carrots are traditionally considered to be the best vegetable for the eyes, while sweet potato, eggs, almonds, fish, leafy greens, papaya and beans are also expert in taking care of vision.
