Gold futures prices fall
Gold prices fell by Rs 74 to Rs 77,018 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their deal sizes amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the contract for delivery in February 2025 fell by Rs 74, or 0.01 per cent, to Rs 77,018 per 10 grams. 12,297 lots were traded in this. Market analysts said that gold futures prices have fallen due to weak trend in global markets. Globally, gold fell 0.10 per cent to $2,647.14 an ounce in New York.
Fall in silver futures prices
Silver fell by Rs 274 to Rs 93,019 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as traders reduced the size of their deals amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March 2025 fell by Rs 274, or 0.29 percent, to Rs 93,019 per kg. 24,653 lots were traded in this. Market analysts said that at the current level, silver futures prices have declined due to increased selling by traders. Globally, silver fell 0.22 per cent to $31.23 an ounce in New York.
How to check hallmark of gold?
