New Delhi, October 4 (IANS). Actor Govinda was discharged from the hospital on Friday after the shooting incident. A statement from his doctor has come out on this matter. He said that the Bollywood actor’s condition is better and he will keep an eye on him.
Dr. Shyam Aggarwal told IANS that Govinda, who was discharged from Critical Care Asia Hospital, will have to do exercises and physiotherapy at home for a few days. He said that if needed, he would go to Govinda’s house and check his health.
60-year-old Govinda was injured by a bullet from his own revolver on October 1. The incident occurred around 4.45 am when he was about to store the weapon after cleaning it. Suddenly the revolver slipped from his hand and a bullet was accidentally fired which hit his leg.
Neither his wife nor his daughter were at home at the time of the incident and Govinda was preparing to leave for an event in Kolkata. The entire Bollywood was shocked by the news of him being shot and his fans wished him a speedy recovery.
Many Bollywood stars reached the hospital to know the condition of Govinda. Recently, actress Shilpa Shetty also reached the hospital to inquire about the actor’s well being.
The incident has raised concerns among celebrities about gun safety. People are feeling relieved after Govinda’s recovery.
Fans and colleagues have expressed their support for him on social media and wished him a speedy recovery.
Govinda, known for his lively personality and memorable acting, is expected to recover soon and return to work.
