Narmada, 6 February (IANS): Ayushman Arogya temples in Narmada district of Gujarat have obtained a total of 2 nation level and 37 state level National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certificates in just 10 months, which high quality health services of the district Refers to increasing commitment to.
Between April and November 2024, Delhi teams made a thorough evaluation of health facilities in Navpara and Sundarpura villages of Nandod taluka. These two Ayushman Arogya Temple sub-centers under Sisodara and Jasalpur Primary Health Centers met the strict criteria set by the National Quality Assurance Program (NQAP), which evaluates healthcare institutions based on various quality indicators.
In this process, national level officials reviewed closely, focusing on infrastructure, hygiene, medical services and the total quality of health services being provided. Only the institutions that meet these high standards are given the prestigious NQAS certificate. This rigorous evaluation ensures that healthcare centers not only provide basic medical treatment, but also provide care of patients, making these facilities a great example of quality in health services.
Speaking to IANS about the importance of this belief, Narmada district health officer Janak Madhak said, “Ayushman Bharat Arogya temples in Sunderpura and Navpara have received national level certificate due to high quality of their services. Under this program , We provide 12 types of essential health services, from the care of children to help for the elderly, ensuring that our citizens get widespread and quality care. “
The Ayushman Arogya Temple provides a wide range of health services, including free medical examination, medicines and health education. It has become an important resource for the community, in which each feature meets the needs of many villages. For example, Sundarpura Center provides service in four villages and provides yoga sessions everyday with the aim of promoting free consultation, medicines (195 types available) and physical and mental health.
Dr. Devesh Bhardwaj of Ayushman Arogya Temple in Sunderpura revealed the influence of the Center. He said, “We have received an NQAS certificate for our seven services. It has been a rewarding experience. We are not only providing medical services; we are also promoting health through yoga and health education.”
