Neemuch, 29 December (IANS). During the difficult economic times after the Corona epidemic, Banshilal Mali, a farmer and flower trader living in Nayagaon city of Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, became victim of a heart attack. The heart attack put Mali’s family in deep trouble. On the one hand, due to the economic blow caused by the Corona epidemic and on the other hand, due to the sudden illness of the head of the family, the family faced a deep crisis. At such a time, it was very difficult for the family to raise funds for treatment. Bansilal’s family needed financial assistance for treatment.
In this difficult time, the Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi helped Bansilal and his family. Under this scheme, Bansilal could get free and excellent treatment and today he is completely healthy. Ayushman Bharat Yojana not only gave life to Bansilal but also brought a smile on the face of his family.
Banshilal Mali, a beneficiary of the scheme, told news agency IANS that he suffered a sudden heart attack during the Corona epidemic in November 2020. This time was very difficult for him and his family, as his condition was serious and a huge amount of money was required for the treatment. Initially the family members took him to the nearest hospital, but later it was found that there was a blockage in a vein of his heart and an operation was required. Doctors estimated the cost of the operation to be around Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh. After this, my relatives and friends admitted us to a big hospital in Ahmedabad, where we got free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Bansilal said that he was treated in the hospital for seven days. The government bore the entire expense of the operation and medicines. Expressing his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Banshilal said that this scheme helped me and my family a lot. I got free treatment and today I am completely healthy. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bansi Lal’s daughter Payal Mali also praised this scheme of Modi government and said that when her father suffered a heart attack, a mountain of sorrow fell on the entire family. But under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, his father got free treatment and today he is healthy and is taking up the responsibilities of the family as before. Payal expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.
Bansilal’s brother Jagdish Mali told that my elder brother had suddenly suffered a heart attack, which created an atmosphere of worry in the entire family. We immediately took him to the hospital, but as his condition became critical, we took him to Ahmedabad. We are from a poor family and did not have money for treatment, but my brother got free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. This scheme is no less than a boon for the poor. I want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has provided health services to lakhs of poor families through this scheme.
Let us tell you that on September 23, 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Ayushman Bharat scheme from the capital of Jharkhand. This scheme of PM Modi is proving to be a boon for poor and needy families. Under this scheme, free treatment for major diseases is being provided to the poor. This scheme can be availed in government and private hospitals across the country. Under each scheme, each beneficiary family gets free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a year. This scheme has brought positive change in the lives of lakhs of families and now they are able to get treatment without any worry.
At present, not only in Neemuch district but in the entire country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Ayushman Bharat seems to be coming true. It is possible for poor and middle class people to get free treatment for serious and life-threatening expensive diseases. Even the poor people of the country are now able to get treatment in private and big hospitals.
