Since childhood, we have been told many benefits of eating almonds and we do the same with our coming generation, ‘Eat a handful of almonds and get rid of many diseases’. Actually, many types of nutrients like protein, fiber, omega three fatty acids are found in almonds which provide complete nutrition to our body. Due to the slightly hot nature of almonds, it is always advised to eat them after soaking them. However, during the winter season, there is usually confusion among people whether almonds should be eaten soaked or in some other way. So let us know today what is the right way to eat almonds in winter.

Know the right way to eat winter almonds
As we know that almonds are somewhat hot in nature, hence it is considered right to eat them after soaking them. Let us tell you that no matter what the season is, no matter how cold it is, almonds should be consumed only after soaking them. Some people also chew hot roasted almonds in winter, but you should avoid doing this every day. Actually, roasted almonds work exactly like medicine. If someone has any problem like cold or cough, then consuming lukewarm almonds roasted on a pan can be very beneficial. But if you are including almonds in your daily diet, then you should consume them only after soaking them even in winter. Sometimes, to enhance the taste of your tongue, you can eat almonds roasted in ghee and seasoned with salt and pepper, but avoid doing this daily.

Benefits of eating almonds in winter
No matter what the season, the benefits of eating almonds do not diminish. If you consume a handful of soaked almonds daily in winter, it helps in keeping your body warm. Besides, by boosting immunity, it also reduces the risk of seasonal diseases. Apart from this, it is also very beneficial in reducing bad cholesterol, weight management, heart health, brain health and maintaining overall health.
