To reduce this increased fat, 40 plus women can adopt these methods.

Strength training will help
After the age of 40, the body’s metabolism slows down. Because of which it is very difficult to burn calories. In such a situation, do strength training two to four times a week. With this training, lean muscles start getting rebuilt. Apart from this, it helps in keeping bones and body strong and healthy.

Pay attention to the quality of sleep
Lack of sleep can disrupt hormonal balance, which increases cravings for high-calorie foods and slows down metabolism. To burn natural fat, it is necessary to sleep for 7-9 hours at night.

Eat carefully and keep an eye on the portions
Metabolism naturally slows down with age, so it is important to pay attention to what and how much we eat. In mindful eating, it is important to pay attention to food. Eating this way involves savoring each bite and recognizing when you are full. Apart from this, also keep in mind portion control. Eat nutrient-rich food and include plenty of fruits, vegetables and lean proteins in your diet.

Drinking the right amount of water throughout the day is important for health and it can also help in weight management. Drinking adequate amount of water helps in managing metabolism and helps in feeling full. By doing this you can avoid overeating.
