Health News Desk: There is an atmosphere of Diwali celebration across the country. This five-day festival is celebrated from the day of Dhanteras till Bhai Dooj. In this festival, a lot of sweets are prepared at home but guests also keep coming and going due to which there is a pile of sweet things in the house. In such a situation, people forget their diet on that day and consume sweets a lot. In such situations, many people often complain of acidity and indigestion. If you too are facing these problems after Diwali, then let us tell you how to get rid of this problem?

Consume these desi drinks:
Fennel water: Fennel is the best body detoxifier. Whenever you have digestive problems, you should drink fennel water. The antioxidant, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties present in it help in keeping the digestive system healthy. Fennel keeps all the problems related to digestion away by increasing the production of gastric enzymes. It also treats constipation, indigestion and bloating. It is also used to eliminate bad breath after eating.

Mint Tea: Drinking mint tea provides excellent digestive benefits. If you are indigestion then consume it. Add 12 to 15 mint leaves and two, three black peppers in a glass of water and boil it well. When it cools down slightly, filter it and drink. This will improve digestion and detox the body.

Tulsi Tea: Tulsi tea is known as a natural detox. It contains natural chemicals that work to boost metabolism. Drinking tea from basil leaves helps in improving bowel movements, promoting digestive system balance and maintaining pH levels. They contain compounds that support the function of pancreatic cells and also help in controlling blood sugar levels. Add some basil mint leaves in 1 glass of water, boil well and drink.

Cumin water: Drinking cumin water relieves the problem of indigestion. It increases your metabolism and the problem of acidity also goes away. Consuming it also reduces fat.
