Lifestyle News Desk: With the change in lifestyle, work life has also changed. Even though technology has made the work easier than before, the work pressure has increased a lot. In office or work from home, people often have to work sitting for long hours. Due to work stress, many times people remain sitting continuously for 8 to 9 hours. Due to which not only the bones are affected but you can also get mentally disturbed. Sitting for hours can make you sick, in such a situation, adopt these methods to prevent it.

1) You can get sick if you sit for hours. In such a situation, take a short break every 30 minutes to prevent illness. It may seem a bit difficult to do this in between work, but keeping your health in mind, get up and move around.

2) Do light stretching in between work. Doing this helps in making the muscles flexible and strong. Try to stretch your neck, chest, shoulders and wrists in between workouts.

3) If you sit too much throughout the day, then do some exercise to keep your body healthy. Like deadlift, deep squats or push-ups.

4) People who sit for hours in the office can also use exercise ball. This can help strengthen your core muscles and improve posture.

5) Experts say that if you do not get time to go for a walk due to work, then park your car one kilometer before your office and then walk from there to the office. If you are working from home, then take a 15-minute walk before starting work.

6) If you remain sitting for hours then it is important for you to stand up from time to time. Try to stand while attending meetings or talking on calls.

7) It is very important to stay hydrated. Therefore drink plenty of water throughout the day. By doing this you can avoid fatigue. Along with this, healthy diet is also important.
