-According to Ayurveda, fresh fruits are considered lighter and easier to digest than other food items. But when these fruits are consumed with heavy food or immediately after eating, they remain in the stomach until the heavy food is digested. As a result, they remain in the stomach with food for a longer period of time, which can interfere with the absorption of nutrients by affecting digestion.
-Fruits should always be eaten alone. Fruits should never be eaten with or after meals. You can eat fruits 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
-You can eat fruits with similar tastes together but avoid consuming mixed fruits on a regular basis.
-To take full advantage of fruits, eat them raw instead of drinking their juice. Drink fruit juice only when your digestion is poor or you are unable to chew and eat properly due to weakness.
-The best time to consume fruits is before sunset. You should consume fruits at this time. Do not eat fruits late at night or during the day.
-Never eat fruits with or after meals.
-In Ayurveda, it is advised to take milk and fruits separately. But you can take milk only by mixing it with sweet and ripe fruits.
