If you are cracking your fingers too much, then know that it can be arthritis, know the way to avoid it.

Health News Desk: Many people start cracking their fingers and toes when they feel tired. As soon as the elders of the house see the cracking of fingers, they quickly stop it. He believes that this habit is not good. At the same time, many people feel that cracking fingers can cause pain in old age or the problem of arthritis will start emerging. But know what doctors and research say about this.

Why does the sound of cracking of fingers come?
Have you ever wondered why a cracking sound is heard when the fingers are pulled? Actually, when we stretch the joints of the fingers, the pressure in the liquid substance between the joints decreases and bubbles are formed in the gases dissolved in that liquid. As soon as pressure is applied on the fingers, these bubbles burst and a crackling sound is made. This process is called cavitation in science. When we crack our fingers, it takes at least half an hour for the gas to dissolve again in this liquid. This means that at least half an hour is required to crack the fingers again.

Research has revealed
If you think that cracking fingers can cause problems like arthritis, then it is completely wrong. Cracking fingers has absolutely nothing to do with arthritis. According to the report published in Medical News Today, a study was conducted on 215 people in 2011. In which 20 percent people crack their fingers daily. About 18.1 percent people in this group had arthritis in their hands. Whereas 21.5 percent people did not click their fingers. The result of this study was that the risk of cracking fingers and not cracking fingers is the same in both people. Whether you snap your fingers or not.

What happens when you snap your fingers?
If fingers are cracked repeatedly, it may cause swelling or pain in the joints. Many times the grip of hands starts becoming weak. Although there is no research on this, but the habit of repeatedly snapping fingers sometimes takes the form of a mental problem. To get rid of this, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
