1) Excess weight can put unnecessary physical stress on the spine. Too much weight can increase problems.

2) Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, it tightens the blood vessels, due to which the blood flow also reduces. In such a situation, oxygen and nutrition in the spinal cord becomes limited.

3) Staying in one position for a long time affects the spinal cord. Keep the spine active. If you have to sit for a long time at work, take breaks in between. Walk, jog and do occasional exercises to keep your back flexible.

4) Yoga is very beneficial, which can both strengthen and stretch the muscles. You will get a lot of benefit by doing every yoga posture.

5) Water therapy can be very helpful in reducing back problems. Water yoga can be an effective way to build strength and confidence.

6) Whether you are walking for exercise or going somewhere, the shoes you wear are essential in supporting your lower back. Good shoes provide support that helps the spine and body remain aligned.

7) A good back massage has many benefits, such as increasing blood flow, promoting relaxation of tight muscles. The massage does not have to be vigorous for it to be relaxing.
