Health News Desk: The problem of arthritis is very bad because even after being healthy, a person becomes unable to walk. In simple language, arthritis means joint pain. Severe pain starts in any part of the body where there is a joint between the bones. This pain increases especially when the weather becomes cold and humid. In such a situation, it is important that along with medicines, diet should also be taken care of. If the problem of joint pain is increasing, then immediately exclude these food items from your diet. Know which are those foods.

Sweet drinks and sweet foods
According to a 2020 research, people who drink more sweet drinks in life have a higher risk of rheumatoid arthritis. Sweet foods and sweet cold drinks contain pasteurized sugar which causes inflammation in the body with the help of cytokines. Due to which joints also become swollen and pain increases. Not only this, weight also increases due to sugar.

processed meat
Processed meats which are prepared in labs and red meat i.e. mutton and meat of larger animals, increase joint pain.

Purine rich foods
People suffering from gout are often advised to avoid foods that contain purine. Purines convert into uric acid and accumulate in the joints of the body, causing swelling and pain. Foods containing purines include animal organs, liver and kidneys, candy, desserts, raisins, fruit juices, and foods containing saturated fat. Some vegetables also contain purine content, including cauliflower, spinach and mushrooms.

omega 6 fatty acids
Oils which contain Omega 6 fatty acids can increase the problem of joint pain i.e. arthritis. Sunflower seeds, vegetables oil, corn oil. However, keep in mind that Omega 6 fatty acids can be used in small quantities but consuming it continuously increases arthritis.

saturated fat
Butter, cheese, meat, all these things contain saturated fat. These help in increasing obesity and inflammation in the body. Due to which joint pain increases.

foods high in salt
Foods which contain high salt like chips and packaged food items. They should also avoid food. High sodium in the body increases the risk of rheumatoid arthritis.
