New Delhi, 7 February (IANS). Earlier people used to work during the day and slept at night. But, while working with development, working and working at night has become a compulsion of some people.
The trend of ‘night duty’ has increased in many companies. People are seen doing night duty in metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. Night duty people sleep during the day and work at night. This causes them to face various types of health related problems, although many people are unaware of the root cause of these problems and therefore do not pay attention to it.
Dr. Tusar Tayal of CK Birla Hospital told IANS that it cannot be dismissed at all that people are doing a large number of night duty in today’s date. People are taking it as a normal process, but if they stay awake at night for a long time, they may have to face various types of health problems.
Many times there is a question in the minds of people that what is the problem in doing duty at night, because we have to sleep overall. Now sleep at night or in the day, what difference does it make.
On this, Dr. Tayal says that this is not the case at all. Sleep has a very deep relationship with time. There is a difference of ground-sky in sleeping at night and sleeping on the day. There is a system of sleeping in our body, it is called circadianridam. According to this, melatonin hormones begin to occur in our body, which helps in getting sleep. In such a situation, people who have to sleep during the day and work at night, this circadinerithm is disturbed, causing them to face various types of health problems.
He told that in such a situation, when people doing duty in the night try to sleep during the day, they are unable to sleep properly. This causes them to face physical and mental problems.
According to Dr. Tayal, waking up at night and sleeping during the day reduces a person’s memory. It starts getting angry at the matter. The mind becomes irritable, its mind stops in any work. Many times the concentration of that person is also disturbed. In such a situation, a person has to face health problems. This includes prominently diabetes, increased blood pressure, unbalanced of many types of hormones.
If such a situation arises that you have to work at night for a few days and have to sleep during the day, then try to close the light of your room while sleeping during the day, there is no means of light in it. Ho, so that you can get good sleep. Along with this, there should be an effort that this series should not last long.
Dr. Tayal says that your sleep cycle deteriorates by waking up at night and sleeping during the day. In such a situation your growth hormone is also affected. Your physical growth also stops.
