Half a teaspoon or one teaspoon of cinnamon is used. However, experts say that consuming cinnamon in large quantities daily can cause stomach, liver, kidney related problems. However, to see its benefits, definitely eat it in limited quantities.

Where does cinnamon come from
The smell of cinnamon is wonderful. It is also used in making some cakes along with vegetables. There is a cinnamon tree. The stem of the tree is peeled and dried. It is wrapped in the shape of a stick. Many people also use it by grinding it. Now it is important to know its benefits also.

Cinnamon is antifungal, antioxidant
Spices contain plant compounds called polyphenols. It acts as an antioxidant. It is also found in cinnamon. This spice is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. It is used in Chinese herbal medicine. It helps a lot in protecting against bacterial and fungal infections.

Boosts the immune system
Every year, someone in your neighbourhood or family falls victim to seasonal fever, cough or cold. This is the effect of the virus or bacteria spreading in the air during those days. Cinnamon has the property of dealing with such viruses. Regular consumption in limited quantities strengthens the immune system and such viruses are unable to pass.

Decreases growth of cancer cells
Research has shown that cinnamon also has an effect on the development of cancer. This spice stops the growth of cancer cells. If cancer-related elements are being formed in the blood vessels, it destroys them. This greatly reduces the risk of cancer.

Lower risk of diabetes, heart disease
Cinnamon has been found to be beneficial for type 2 diabetes. It works to control insulin in blood sugar. This reduces the risk of diabetes. At the same time, cinnamon is used to control blood pressure. It also reduces cholesterol. Controlling blood pressure and reducing cholesterol reduces the risk of heart diseases.
