Flavonoid compounds are found in them, which work to protect insulin from resistance. Dark chocolate also works to protect diabetic patients from heart damage caused by increased sugar.

If diabetic patients feel like eating something sweet, they can eat banana ice cream. Bananas mainly contain fiber. It works to slow down the absorption of sugar. According to health experts, if a diabetic patient eats a banana daily, then within a month the amount of blood sugar and bad cholesterol starts decreasing.
