Tea Coffee: Every year the summer season presents a serious challenge in India, but this time the situation is going to be more difficult. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding the severe heat in many states.

At the same time, the National Program on Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH) under the Union Ministry of Health (NPCCHH) has tea, coffee and cold drinks (Tea, Coffee and Cold Drinks) It is advisable to avoid, because they can cause lack of water in the body.

Alert with hot winds: Danger more in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, this time the intensity of hot winds in the country will be higher. Red alert has been issued in Odisha and Jharkhand, while heat wave has been warned in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and West Bengal. In addition, Yellow alert has been issued in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Saurashtra, Kutch and parts of Gujarat.

Dehydration prevention measures

Due to hot winds, excessive sweating from the body, which can cause dehydration. According to NPCCHH warning, excessive intake of tea, coffee and cold drinks can increase this problem.

To reduce the outbreak of heat, drink more water, take coconut water, fruit juice and electrolyte drinks and eat fresh fruits like watermelon, cucumber, orange.

Pay special attention to catering in summer

According to NPCCHH, heavy, oily and spicy foods should be avoided during summer. as well as :

-The diet and nutritious diet
-Consumption, buttermilk and lassi
-Avoid spacious and fried food

Follow these methods to avoid sunlight

NPCCHH has advised to avoid going in the sun between 12 noon and 3 pm. If it is necessary to go out, follow these precautions:
-A wear loose colored clothes
-To Topi and Sunglasses
-A apply sunscreen with high SPF

How to do exercise and physical labor in summer?

Excessive physical activity can harm health in the scorching heat. If you want to exercise, then:

-Do early or evening
-Drink water before and after business
-Consult a doctor if you have a problem of heart disease or high blood pressure

Effect of heat on mental health

Heat can affect not only the body but also mental health. Excessive heat can increase irritability, stress and mental exhaustion. To avoid this:

-get plenty of sleep
-Do meditation and yoga
-Spend time in all the music and cold places
-It is necessary to follow government warnings
-NPCCHH and Meteorological Department have advised people to follow government guidelines to protect against heat. It can prove dangerous to ignore Red and Yellow Alert.
