Apart from special puja, people also keep fast. Some people also keep fast so that they can lose weight. But eating puris and pakodas made of ghee during fasting increases weight. In such a situation, such a diet should be followed during the fast, which detoxifies the body. When the body is detoxed, it will also help in controlling weight. Start the day after puja at 7:00 am and drink lukewarm lemon water mixed with a pinch of cinnamon and honey.
Have breakfast at 9:00 am. For this, eat fruit salad with papaya, pomegranate and apple mixed with soaked chia seeds.
Drink a coconut water with 8 almonds and 1 walnut around 11:00 am
Have lunch around 1:00 pm. For this, make khichdi of samak rice with vegetables and take 50 grams of paneer and a bowl of cucumber raita.
Have evening breakfast at 4:00 pm. For this, take 1 cup of green tea with roasted makhana.
Have dinner at 7:00. For this you can eat sweet potato chaat. To make this, add boiled sweet potato, lemon and rock salt, mix well and then eat.
If sweet potatoes are not available, you can drink a bowl of mixed vegetable soup. Add the vegetables you eat during the fast to the soup.
Drink a glass of warm turmeric milk before sleeping at 9:00 pm.
