Consumption of flaxseed is beneficial for overall health, because it contains calcium and magnesium in good quantity and nutrition like vitamin B6, iron, vitamin C, dietary fiber, protein etc. are also found in it. Consumption of flaxseed can prevent cold, because its nature is considered hot. Apart from this, it also has the power to protect against anemia (blood deficiency) and it is also helpful in maintaining hormonal balance, hence its consumption is considered very beneficial for women. Consumption of flaxseed is helpful in strengthening bones and muscles, reducing hair fall, increasing immunity, keeping the skin healthy, etc. Flaxseed can be consumed in different ways, as well You can make a pack of this and apply it on the face and flaxseed can also be applied on the hair. This will not only make hair shiny but also provides relief from hair fall. So let us know in what ways flaxseed can be used.

Consume flaxseed in these ways
Flaxseed can be eaten roasted and can also be eaten by mixing it with other seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds etc.) or can be used as salad dressing. Apart from this, roasted flaxseed powder can be consumed by adding it to vegetables, pulses, soups etc. Whereas linseed and jaggery laddus taste delicious and are very beneficial for health. During winter days, laddus made of flaxseed and jaggery can be stored comfortably for at least 1 to 2 months.

Make face pack of flaxseed
Flaxseed face pack can be very effective in getting rid of facial problems like dullness, itching, redness, rashes etc. Flaxseed helps in maintaining the elasticity of the skin, which prevents wrinkles etc. on the skin. To make a nutrient-rich flaxseed face pack, boil one to two spoons of flaxseed in a little water, when it starts becoming gel-like, filter it and prepare a pack by adding rice flour to it. Keep this face pack on the face for 10 to 15 minutes. Apart from this, grind flaxseed, cinnamon and curd together. This pack removes the problem of pigmentation and also increases the glow of the skin.

Make flaxseed mask for hair
If there is hair fall or the hair appears very dry, then boil half the amount of flaxseed in water as per requirement. When the water starts becoming a little thick i.e. starts becoming gel-like, then filter it with a cotton cloth and separate it. Mix fresh aloe vera in this gel, blend it and apply it on the hair from root to tip. This also reduces dandruff and provides relief from itching of the scalp. At the same time, problems like hair breakage, fall, frizziness etc. are removed.
