Even if you do not avoid sweets completely, avoid consuming sweets in excessive quantities. Try to sweeten your mouth by taking a piece of sweet instead of eating the whole sweet so that there is sweetness as well as health. Avoid eating too greasy sweets. Besides, mawa sweets can also cause harm. Instead of this, you can take sweets made of cottage cheese or milk. Whenever you are going to meet friends or relatives, try to have breakfast before leaving home. This will keep your stomach full and you will avoid unnecessarily consuming sweets or other food items. Do not eat more than one or two spoons or a few mouthfuls per household. Otherwise, you will find it difficult to eat and drink at other friends’ or relatives’ houses and you will not be able to refuse food. At your home, try to welcome guests with dry fruits instead of greasy sweets. With this you will also be saved from consuming sweets and no one avoids dry fruits. There is a lot of sweets and dishes during the festival season, in such a situation, decide your diet in advance. Because many times the dishes fill your stomach and you are unable to eat, which can spoil your health. If you are a diabetic patient, it is better for you to stay away from sweets. There is nothing more important than health, and if health is good then the enthusiasm of the festival is different. Even after Diwali, the phase of full dishes continues for a long time. In such a situation, try to eat light food or consume more salad, curd, raita and fruits. If possible, fast for a day after the festival. This will keep your stomach healthy and your digestive system will not get disturbed. Consume only liquids during fasting. Despite taking many precautions, if you are still eating sweets or fried foods, then assume that you should not consume sweets at all for the next one to two months. Otherwise you may become a victim of obesity as well as other problems.
