Due to the body not being physically active, many types of health related problems start surrounding the person. Research shows that by sitting for a long time, a person starts having serious lifestyle problems like obesity, high BP, diabetes, high cholesterol as well as belly fat. Which later causes metabolic syndrome. However, it is very difficult to keep yourself healthy and active in a sitting job. Despite this, you can stay fit by adopting some small tips in your daily routine. Let’s know how.

Follow these methods to keep yourself fit in a sitting job-
Start your day well-
If you have a sitting job and your whole day ends as soon as you enter the office, then take some time for yourself in the morning. It is not necessary to go to the gym at this time to stay fit. You can use this time to walk, play badminton with family or do yoga. Try to include at least one such activity in your daily routine in which you can remain physically involved.

It is important to stay hydrated-
Often people doing sitting jobs get so busy in their work that they forget to drink water. In such a situation, to keep yourself active and hydrated, get up from your seat from time to time and keep drinking water. If you do not drink enough water, you may feel tired due to dehydration. Due to which you may also have difficulty concentrating on work.

It is also important to take a break-
If you have to remain glued to a chair for hours due to work, then make a rule to get up for one minute every hour and walk ten steps.

Do the exercise while sitting on a chair-
Those who stick to their chairs for hours can make their office chair their gym. For this, straighten your back and slowly lift your legs forward. Do this in 3 sets of 10 each.

Do stretching-
Whenever you get a chance to get up from your chair, bend your waist a little, doing this will keep the body stretched. Apart from this, stand on your toes for a few seconds. Doing this relieves fatigue.
