Most women have to face this problem after cesarean section. Diastasis recti is the cause of an enlarged abdomen. Due to this, a gap is formed in the middle of the stomach. In this type of problem, simple exercises are ineffective. In such a situation, to reduce belly fat after childbirth, you should avoid doing sit-ups, sit-ups, planks and exercises that put pressure on the stomach. Instead, doing these exercises will help reduce your sagging belly.

First of all, lie down on your back. Bend your knees and lift your waist up along with your hips. Keep your elbows on the floor. Now lift one leg and place it on the floor. Now bend the knee of this leg and place the soles of your feet on the floor and keep the other leg extended 90 degrees with respect to the floor. 20-20 sets of this exercise daily will help in reducing your enlarged belly.

Lie on your back on the floor. Lift your waist and hips and bend your knees. Alternatively, open both legs out and rest them on the floor. Repeat this exercise for 30 seconds. This exercise will help in reducing the gap in the middle of your stomach.

If your belly doesn’t shrink after giving birth, focus on exercises that strengthen your abs. To do bird posture, place your hands on your knees. Now open your left hand forward and right leg backward. Spread opposite arms and legs like a bird. This exercise strengthens the muscles around your stomach.
