New Delhi, 27 June (IANS). In today’s run -of -the -mill life, people are not able to take special care of their health, the direct effect of which is seen on our immunity, digestion and skin. In such a situation, Ayurveda and our ancient proven medical system show some prescriptions which can be relieved in minutes if adopted. There are some leaves that chew on an empty stomach and can get immediate relief.
It is advisable to eat stale mouth neem, basil, sweet neem and celery leaves, which helps to protect against many diseases.
In the Sushruta Samhita, Neem is called ‘Sarva Disea Nivarini’. According to Ayurveda, neem has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties, it helps to protect the body from infection. At the same time, chewing 3-4 soft leaves of 3-4 neem on an empty stomach daily in the morning provides relief from stomach problems. Neem leaf detoxes the skin from the inside, which removes all the toxins in the body and the skin also becomes healthy. At the same time, those who have pimples can include neem leaf in the daily routine.
In Charaka Samhita, Tulsi has been named ‘Vishnu Priya’. According to the ancient proven method, eating Tulsi leaf provides improvement in digestion, increasing immunity and relieving respiratory diseases. Although Tulsi has many advantages, some people should avoid chewing its leaves, especially those who have stomach ulcer or acidity problems.
According to Ayurveda, sweet neem i.e. curry leaves contain fiber and antioxidants that help clean the stomach. Chewing it on an empty stomach in the morning causes digestive enzymes, which improves digestion of food and relieves problems like gas, constipation and indigestion. It also controls hunger.
Celery leaves are called natural mouth fresheners, as thymol is found in it. This element is known for its anti-bacterial properties, which helps to eliminate the bacteria that causes smell in the mouth. Chewing stale mouth celery in the morning brings freshness in the breath and the gums also benefit.
