People use sugar a lot in their daily diet, but do you know that it causes harm to your health instead of benefit. Consumption of sugar is no less than poison for health. Honey: Honey has a lower GI value than sugar, which means it does not raise blood sugar levels as quickly. Honey is sweeter than sugar, so you may need less of it. However, it has a little more calories per teaspoon, so consume it in limited quantity.
Fig: Fig is rich in fiber and carbohydrates. Eating it reduces weight, improves digestion, reduces cholesterol and also improves blood sugar levels, hence you should consume figs instead of sugar in your diet.
