Noida, September 13 (IANS). There is a rapid increase in the cases of dengue and malaria in Noida. The district health department has completed its preparations to deal with any situation.
According to the district health department, the number of dengue and malaria patients increases during the rainy season. In view of the increasing number of malaria-dengue patients, beds have been specially reserved in hospitals. Special camps are being set up in all sectors and rural areas of Noida. Along with this, people are being instructed to prevent dengue-malaria and as soon as fever or any other problem appears, they should immediately get admitted to the hospital.
The arrangements for patient care in all government and private hospitals are being monitored under the supervision of the district health department team. The health department has alerted all hospitals and necessary medicines have been made available. If needed, the number of beds in hospitals will be increased.
Chief Medical Officer Sunil Kumar Sharma while talking to IANS said that as soon as the rains start, the cases of dengue and malaria start increasing. This time too the cases are increasing, but less than last year. The health department is completely on alert and our team reaches immediately on receiving information.
Recently, a camp was organised in Eco Village-3 for three consecutive days. On Friday, after receiving information about some cases of fever from Noida Sector-56, our team is working there. He further said that beds have been reserved in all hospitals and they have been alerted. We have all the necessary medicines available and the number of beds in hospitals will be increased if needed.
