The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) organized an international conference on ‘Artificial Intelligence, Device Computing, Communications and Signal Processing’, which concluded on Sunday.
NIT Director HM Suryavanshi expressed pride in the successful organization of the conference. He said, “This event reflects the Institute’s commitment to foster innovation and provide a global platform for exchange of knowledge in emerging technologies. The participation of eminent researchers and professionals has made this conference a true success.” “
Earlier, Dr. Ravinder Jhandu, Head of Digital Systems, gave a detailed discussion on emerging digital technologies. The four plenary sessions were attended by thinkers from around the world. Professor RP Yadav from NIT-Jaipur gave insight on future applications of AI in communications and signal processing, Dr. Aamir and Dr. Ajit Kumar, Research Scientists at National Laboratory of Radar and Surveillance Systems in PISA, Italy, on Polarimetric SAR and Interferometry SAR Machine learning for processing and SAR processing for target detection in surveillance applications enthralled the audience. The plenary session concluded with Professor Arun Khosla, IT-Jalandhar, delivering a session on emerging AI trends in signal processing.
The conference featured theme-based research papers presented in six carefully curated technical sessions. Best paper awards for each session were given to Dr. Deepanshu Kaushal, Dr. Pallavi Ranjan, Pal Patel, Sumit Anand, Anubuselvan Kasilingam and Rupali Salwan Sharma. Dr. Ashok Kumar expressed his gratitude to the attendees, reviewers, speakers, industry personnel and the institute administration for their valuable contribution and support.
