‘Jan Aushadhi Day’ celebrated in Nalasopara, Maharashtra, people expressed their gratitude to PM Modi

Nalasopara, 7 March (IANS). On Friday, ‘Jan Aushadhi Day’ is being celebrated across the country. Programs were also organized on this occasion in Nalasopara, Maharashtra. The people present praised ‘mass medicine medicines’.

BJP district president Mahendra Patil of Vasai-Virar told IANS, “Jan Aushadhi Day is being celebrated all over the country today. Many senior citizens are dependent on daily medicines for blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases. These generic medicines are often expensive in regular medical stores. However, the same medicines are made available at very low prices through public centers.”

Vilas Gopal Mistry thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi while talking to IANS. He said, “I am getting cheap medicines through Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Earlier medicines used to cost five thousand rupees a month, but now only 500 rupees are spent by the opening of Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Now PM Modi has done a very good job for the convenience of the people, I thank them.

Babu Devji Nagar, a customer, said that my wife had a heart attack. My wife’s medicines are running from Jan Aushadhi Kendra itself and we are also saving. I thank PM Modi, who thought about the poor.

Director of Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Awadhesh Tiwari said that ‘Jan Aushadhi Day’ is being celebrated in the country on 7 March. Awareness about this scheme can be increased on a war footing, under this, ‘Jan Aushadhi Day’ is being celebrated today. We will tell everyone how ‘Jan Age drugs’ are proving beneficial for the people.

He said, “Medicines are cheap at Jan Aushadhi Kendra, which saves a lot of poor people. Also the quality of these medicines is equal to branded medicines, that is why WHO has also recognized it.”

The purpose of ‘Jan Aushadhi Divas’ is to raise awareness about this scheme and promote the use of generic medicines. To support this initiative, a week -long programs are organized across the country from March 1 to March 7.
